Year 2 - The National Gallery Art School Live: Patterns that Take Shape
Back to Latest News
The Year 2 children recently took part in ‘The National Gallery Art School Live: Patterns that Take Shape’, and it was an inspiring experience from start to finish. During the session, the children explored a variety of shapes and patterns, using them as a starting point to express their own creativity. They took inspiration from famous artists, learning how patterns and shapes can be used in different artistic styles, before creating their own unique pieces of artwork.
The excitement was extra special when one of our Year 2 artists had their artwork shared on the live stream, a proud moment for everyone! Most importantly, the children had lots of fun experimenting, creating, and celebrating art together, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.
