Year 3 - Spirals

In Art, Year 3 have been developing their creativity through an exciting sculpture project. They began by sketching designs in their Sketchbooks for their spiral plinth creations, experimenting with different ideas and selecting their favourite designs. Using modelling wire and beads, they then brought their spirals to life, inspired by the artwork Spiral Jetty. The next step will be to use clay to create a plinth, allowing children to proudly display their finished spiral sculptures!
