Year 3 - Camp-Out

At the start of this week the children had the opportunity to spend two mornings in their new classes in Year 4 (Adder and Lizard) getting to know their new teachers. The Year 4 teachers were very impressed by the hardworking, respectful and enthusiastic impression that the Year 3 children left. 

Then we continued to prepare for the Year 3 Camp-Out. The children were really excited to see the product of their tie-dyeing process when they opened their t-shirts up. The t-shirts will all be available for the children to collect and personalise at the Camp-Out event! 

We also continued to learn some campfire songs for the event. Ask your child to perform one for you at home. You may get to hear about an unlucky bumblebee, a sticky moose or a penguin army...

The Camp-Out was a huge success with every child leaving with a huge smile on their face after an evening of BBQ treats, outdoor activities, circus skills, ice cream, campfire smores and plenty of singing! Thank you to the parents for bringing your children back for an evening at school, and to all the staff who ran the amazing activities for the children to take part in.
