Year 5 - Artist in Residence

This week our Year 5 pupils have taken on the challenge of building a nature pond in the Science garden with Mr. Sarkis.

They have worked really hard and managed to dig the pond, lay the rubber lining, build the base for the waterfall and are currently working on the surrounding of the paving made with recycled stones donated by a local resident.

This pond will be the home to many wild creatures such as tadpoles and newts, and will also will be shared by our new ducklings when they are ready to go out.
