Year 1 have been learning more about different Costa Rican traditions, and had a go at using our Design Technology skills to create our very own miniature oxcarts using different craft materials. Then, we used a drawing software on the iPads to produce the bright, symmetrical patterns traditionally used to decorate the oxcart wheels.
We were also very lucky to be visited by Wellgate Farm. Children had the opportunity to learn all about sheep, guinea-pigs, rabbits and goats, and even got to stroke, brush and feed them!
Have a lovely Easter break!
