This week we returned from a visit to the library to find that someone had been in our classroom and had made a HUGE mess! There was a suitcase with a map of Peru, oranges thrown all over the floor and marmalade (with a half-eaten sandwich) smeared all over our tables and dripped onto the floor. Through further investigation, we decided that Paddington Bear must have got lost on his travels and visited us for a while. After cleaning up, we read about some of his adventures and predicted what other mischief he could get up to. The next day we came to class to find that he had sent us a postcard with the help of UNICEF. We decided to write our own postcards back and even posted them in the post-box in class.

We also had another visitor this week in the form of Buddy for NSPCC Number Day. Unfortunately he got lost in school and we had to solve a range of maths problems to put the clues together and find him. He was lost in our tree house in the library.
