Year 3 wb. 28.2.22 - Forest School and Art

This week Otter class had forest school. The children really enjoyed making tree spirits out of clay and carefully sculpting the features of a face. Some children built a den out of fallen sticks and others enjoyed exploring the natural environment!

Seal class learned about the Egyptian gods as our history topic is the Ancient Egyptians. Our Art project this term is to make an Ancient Egyptian god mask. After looking at some of the features of these gods, such as their animal faces and headdresses, the children began to design what their mask could look like.
