Marvellous Music

On Monday 9th February, all children were invited to a Music Assembly led by Focus Music to encourage children to learn an instrument. Following the assembly, they all then took part in three workshops where they were able to try out the guitar, drumming and the piano. 

The children took part enthusiastically and enjoyed having a go at trying out new instruments. They also all learnt some basic skills for all of the instruments. 

We’re hoping that by giving children hands-on workshop experiences and free tasters, more will feel inspired to take up an instrument - a skill that will stay with them for life!
