Year 4 - Science - Making Music

In science, Year 4 have investigated what sound is, makes sound and how we hear sound.

I made a number of 'musical instruments to help us with our investigations.

We made panpipes with just a few straws, glue, and lolly sticks and little harmonicas which are made from rulers (but you can use lolly sticks), rubber bands and straws. It made an impressive sound for its size! Children and adults alike will enjoy playing with these – a lovely afternoon project for the family.
