Year 1 Elmer Day

Year 1 had a fantastic Elmer Day today, wearing all things bright and colourful to celebrate our many wonderful differences. As a school, we performed our Elmer Day song 'Try Everything' and the video of this will be shared soon. In class, we completed a variety of Elmer themed activities, such as Elmer colouring pages, word searches, story quizzes, and used our art printing skills to create Elmer inspired paint collages. In PSHE, we had a circle time to discuss the meaning of family and the different types of families, and shared the families we belong to and how this makes us feel.
