Year 2 - World Book Day

The children have been taking part in the festival of reading and have been enthuastic to fill in their passport.

Well done to all the children for taking part! 

On world book day Year 2 dressed up as their favourite character in their favourite book while dressed up we enjoyed reading in different, unique places at breaktime.

It was lovely to see the children using their creativity when creating costumes and how excited they were to dress up as their favourite characters.

We also read with some of the year 6’s and showed them our reading skills!

We took part in an Anasi workshop which was a lead by storyteller who told African folk tales.
