For children in need we joined Joe Wicks for the last part of his 24 hour Burpee challenge. It was challenging to keep up with Joe Wicks but we all took part and tried our best.
Year 2 really enjoy going to performing arts, this week we used ribbons to add movement and creativity to our dances. Mrs Lawrence taught us how to move the ribbon to the rhythm of the music.
During science, we have been exploring where food comes from and grouping them into two groups from an animal or from a plant. It was really interesting to see where our favourite food comes from.
In forest school we have been looking for micro-habitats and thinking about how we can help the wildlife around us during the colder months.
“If we collect leaves and put them in the microhabitats this will help keep them warm.”
“We have been collecting nuts and berries for the animals.”
