Year 5 - Air resistance

In year 5, we have been learning a great deal about forces. We know about the force of gravity, air and water resistance and friction.

We were given the challenge of applying our understanding and knowledge of gravity, surface area and air resistance to devise a way of slowing an objects descent.

Using our teamwork skills, we created a variety of devices and tested them to see which would slow the rate of fall the best.
