Year 5 - History Exhibition
Back to Latest News
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Year 5 History Exhibition today.
Year 5 have been learning about the most prominent eras in British History (Tudors, Stuarts, Georgians and Victorians) for the past few months, and they were proud to invite everyone to have a look at all of their learning.
Each child chose the area they found most interesting from our learning and decided to create a project revolving around it for the exhibition. They worked hard to design their project, research it thoroughly and ensure their understanding was secure so that they were able to pass their knowledge on.
During the exhibition, all children spoke with confidence about their area of learning, and were able to answer any questions people had. They were able to adapt their presentations to suit their audience, who ranged from children in Year 1 to their adults.
Some of the audience members said:
'I can't believe the level of detail that was displayed'
'The children are so knowledgable'
'I really enjoyed the interaction with the pupils'
'I'm excited to learn about this when I am in Year 5'
Well done Year 5 for showing determination and a love for learning throughout this project- your hard work paid off!
