Trip to Frinton on Sea

On Thursday 29th June, the Year 2's headed off on an exciting trip to the beach. The excitemet on the coach was tremendous and all the learners were buzzing with energy. 

Upon arriving at Frinton on Sea, we all made the trek down to the sandy beach, whilst the learners pointed out different features that they could see. Even though it was raining, we didn't let that stop our fun! With our raincoats on and our spirits high, we went exploring around the area, locating different features such as the beach huts, grassy slopes and groynes. The learners had intese discussions about which features were man made and which were physical. 

After giving our curious minds a workout, we let loose and had some fun playing on the beach. There were so may fun activtities such as frisbees, buckets and spades for sandcastles, looking in sand pools and splashing our feet in the shallow waves. 

After enjoying a prepacked lunch and resting, we ventured out onto the beach again to explore some more!
