Year 5 - Visiting the Ducks

Today some of the children in Year 5 helped to clean, walk and feed our new ducks. Each child took on a role, for example feeding or filling up their water, and were able to successfully look after the ducks. The children enjoyed this job and worked well together as a team to think about the different ways the ducks need looking after. During discussions, the children were able to link their learning to Biology lessons about animal life cycles which they have been learning about in class.
