Year 5 - Welcome to the Victorian Era

Today, Year 5 had the opportunity to experience a typical day in the life of a traditional Victorian School. They were given slates and chalk to complete their activities, which included Copperplate Handwriting and Victorian Arithmetic. Children enjoyed learning about how different life in the Victorian Era was in comparison to life today.

In the afternoon, Year 5 researched lots of different aspects of the Victorian Era, including: Queen Victoria, Victorian Toys, Victorian Schools and Famous Victorians.
