Year 6 - The Big Sow

This week, we were excited to take part in The Big Sow!

Before the Easter Holidays, Year 6 enjoyed decorating their own plant pots which were created using recycled yogurt pots from our school dinners. Both year 6 classes spent some time in the Science garden enjoying some mindful activities and planting a variety of seeds including sweet peas, a range of lettuces and green beans.

We can't wait to see how our plants grow!

Also, a special congratulations to Daria in Polecat Class whose poem was chosen to be printed in a special card which is being sent to King Charles in celebration of his upcoming coronation. She received a special gift and visit from Julia Lopez, a local MP, in assembly. Well done for being such a Marvellous Maylander!
