Year 3 An Egyptian cultural talk

We were very lucky to have a native Egyptian speaker who works in our school, so we invited her to talk to use about what it was like to grow up in Egypt. 

Miss Hashem, told us about the similarities and differences between England and Egypt as well as the traditional food she loves. 

Miss Hashem also spoke to us in Arabic and was joined by two Arabic speakers from our class. We learnt a few greetings. 

We ended our session with some questions and some areas that we will research during our Ancient Egypt topic.
