Dormouse and Hedgehog Class

This week in Reception we were very excited to have our rabbits move into Dormouse and Hedgehog Class, now that the weather is getting very cold.

They love their new home and being so close to the children, roaming around the room.

On Thursday a cheeky Elf called Elvis made an appearance! Apparently, he has been sent by Santa to learn good Behaviour for Learning from the children. They have been reminding him to clear up after himself when he was found this morning making cupcakes – and leaving a huge mess behind!

During Food Technology, in the DT Room, we learned how to make Christmas Cupcakes. We had to follow recipe instructions, count out spoonful’s of ingredients, combining and mixing everything together before spooning the ingredients into cases. They were delicious!

As always, we had huge fun during Free Learning exploring all the wonderful resources.
